I went to the Getty Center for the first time since its remodelling and really enjoyed some of their pieces. This piece is one of a serious of faces in expression, it was carved by a man who was apparently trying to “ward off his inner demons.”
Monday night Metal Skool is a great time. you get to watch grown men in leopard print spandex and sequined scarves with feathered hair and cheesy guitars cover songs like “Feels like the first time,” “Cleveland Rocks,” songs by Journey, Van Halen and so many more. There are almost always celebrities there so if that’s your thing, check it out. Last time I was there Hefner’s Bunny- Holly- was there.
I can’t figure out what kind of flower this is, it was really tiny, but pretty cool looking.
