great pics, that mountain was mt. rainier which has erupted in the past it was just a long time ago. mt. hood is near portland or. a couple of hundred miles south and has a very pointy peak, it too is in the cascade mountain range. mt. st. helens is about halfway in-between and has a massive crater and not much snow anymore. next time you come up you should visit the san juan islands, especially in the summer. its an hour ferry ride and has great camp sites, resorts, views, a nice relaxed pace, and has the tallest mountain in the puget sound, mt. constitution about 3500ft if i remember, great views of the puget sound, the nice thing is you can drive to the top of it. anyways i thought i'd leave some info as i was going to copy the pic of the tree silhouette and make it my desktop wallpaper. thanks

For me, a trip without nature tripping is not a trip at all... and yours is just so amazing. You just made me miss those wonderful experiences I had with all of my trips. Definitely i will be going out and be wild for the next couple of days.
